In 2007 the people at Ford came out with a couple new styles of Mustang wheels. For the most part though there was not that much of a drastic change except for that most of the rims produced were now going to be 18 inches. The choices in finishes were chrome, polished, silver, and black. Here are the most popular Ford Mustang rims of 2007.

Staggered Mustang Wheels

What exactly are Staggered Mustang Wheels? It really is quite simple. The process of buying staggered wheels is one that most people do when they are looking for a better performance in the way their Mustang rides. When you buy the wheels and tires you are going to have different rim sizes for the front and the back rims. A normal configuration for Ford Mustang owners is to have a front rim which is 9.5 inches wide in the front and 10.5 inches wide in the back. Some will keep the same rim size the same and some go bigger.

For people looking to go bigger they usually get a 19 x 9.5 inch rim for the front and a 20 x 10.5 inch rim for the back. When you buy a set of staggered rims you will see increased handling and performance because now the front end of the car will be a little bit lower. This is better for aerodynamics as more wind will catch the rear spoiler pushing the back tires to the ground for a better grip. The only real downside of buying staggered wheels is the cost. Most rim and tire packages are set up where you cannot rotate the wheels and tires around because they are made for a specific side of the car. It is mainly because of the grooves on the tire tread. If you do buy a set you might be able to switch the front rims and back rims from side to side but not front to back. This is the most cost effective way of buying rims for your Mustang. If price is not an issue and performance is the name of the game for you then buy the best set of staggered mustang wheels out there.

This is one of my all time favorite Ford Mustangs. Its probably because I was 12 when this car came out and I always wanted it. They only made about 2,200 of these with the options you see. The bright red color, white wheels, and white top. Sometimes you will see this one with chrome Mustang wheels on it but it looks much better with the OEM Mustang wheels in my opinion.

2008 Silver Saleen Ford Mustang With 20 Inch Chrome Wheels

This 2008 Saleen Mustang pulled up next to me at the end of the 2008 Woodward Dream Cruise. This car looks pretty sweet with the 20 inch chrome Mustang wheels. Those are a great upgrade from the Mustang wheels that came with the car.

Saw this 2008 Saleen Ford Mustang sitting outside of Royal Oak Ford for sale. The phone number is on the side of the window in the picture if anybody is interested. I think the owner was looking for about $40k. Looks like they kept the stock Mustang wheels on it which are 20 inch chrome Mustang wheels.
