Coolest 1967 Ford Mustang

This 1967 Ford Mustang was built for the SEMA auto show. Besides all of the horespower upgrades it really stands out. It has a set of staggered Mustang wheels. They are 18 inch in the front and 20 inch in the back. All in all, one of the baddest looking custom mustangs around.

2008 Shelby GT500 With 20 Inch Black Rims

Here is a really cool 2008 Ford Mustang GT500. This guy put a couple extra modifications into this car straight from the SVT team. The 20 inch Mustang wheels are actually a set of custom Shelby rims. Very cool.

Morxchn Mustang Wheels

If you are looking for a great set of replica Mustang wheels than maybe you should take a look at a set from the Morxchn Company. Morxchn specializes in replicating all of the famous types of Mustang wheels ever produced. Morxchn makes their wheels in a variety of finishes including chrome, black, gunmetal, and white. These wheels are made with the highest quality standard and look just like any OEM Mustang Wheel out there. You can even change the center caps on them to what ever style you are going for. Buying a set of Morxchn Mustang wheels is a good move because you can save quite a bit of money with them over a stock set of Mustang rims. Here are a couple photos of the different styles of Morxchn wheels for a Ford Mustang. As you can see the only difference is the center cap.

1969 Ford Mustang Wheels

In 1969, Ford was trying its best to shake the image of the Ford Mustang. Before 1969 the Ford Mustang was considered a "Sunday Driver" kind of car. It was starting to gain popularity with people who wanted to put their own performance mods on it. Knowing the Ford Mustang had the capabilities of increased power they came out with the 429 Cobra Jet. This car set the standard of future Mustangs to come. This was not about a style change just yet but more about dropping in a big engine to silence the critics. Not that much changed with the wheels either. On the Cobra Jet Mustang you could only get a set of 14 inch steel rims. The bullitt mustang rim is still the most popular style for that time period. Here are a couple photos of some OEM Mustang wheels and some aftermarket kinds from 1969.

1968 Ford Mustang Wheels

1968 was the year that Ford decided to shake things up a little bit. The Ford Mustang GT500 KR came into the publics eye. This was also the first year of the very popular Bullitt Mustang. Steve McQueen drove the all green Bullitt Ford Mustang in one of the most famous car chase scenes of all time. The wheels on the car he drove were all black 5 star wheels. In 1968 the Ford Mustang started to become more of a muscle car than just a cruiser. Ford also decided to change the look of some of the OEM Mustang wheels. The Ford Mustang GT500 KR came with 15 inch steel wheels. You could still buy the Mustang with hubcaps if you really wanted too but why would you. It was probably popular back in the day but I am so glad that almost every new car nowadays does not sell them with a new car. Here are a couple photos of the stock Mustang wheels from 1968.
